The Script

This is a powerful yet simple Image Gallery Script that utilizes PHP and Javascript to generate on the fly thumbnails and instant image viewing. Easy to install and customize as needed.

No SQL is needed but PHP support and the GD Library are required to make the script work.

Installing the Script

1. Unzip hpwimage.zip
2. Open settings.php and change as needed. The file is well documented.
3. Upload to your image directory.
4. Make sure the images do not have spaces in the name as this will cause the script to malfunction
5. Surf to your image directory to see the results, you can modify index.php to make the gallery fit your site design.
6. You can control styles by editing the styles.php file.
7. Replace folder.gif with an image that you like to represent sub directories.
